The teardrop shape is a natural for garnet, with its more classical look and slim enough to let the natural, vibrant color of dark wine come through. The natural stones are slightly irregularly shaped, with light inclusions, which I love because that’s what makes clear their natural origin. This is not my usual jewelry making style, but when I got these adorable little bows, I couldn’t resist making a number of playful pieces – and more will be coming.
