*Please note that this sterling silver pendant has a thicker, more rounded stone with a small dot inclusion in the lower right, and the rose gold one shades a bit to blue-green at the right edge. One of the lovely things about natural gemstones is that each one is different!

Larimar (in Pectolite family) is a wondrous gemstone fairly recently discovered in only a few places, with the prime source of the most beautiful blue stones like these in the Caribbean. It reflects the gorgeous tropical colors of blue sky with fluffy white clouds and clean ocean of this beautiful place, melding blue and cream tones reminiscent of a watercolor painting.

I fell in love with this stone as soon as I saw it and got a number of pieces soon after I started exploring gemology, not realizing that it will skyrocket in value.
