I was overjoyed when I received these beads and saw they’re natural, classic deep green nephrite jade. True jade in general is getting much, much harder to find, and I haven’t seen such lovely example of this particular type for years! The lovely satin polish lets the true smooth and rich nature of dark green nephrite jade come true – the highly polished pieces tend to look too glassy. This is one of the reasons why very old vintage jade jewelry often has the satin polished gemstone.
