The oxidized silver leaf I used on these little beauties is about 50 years old, I inherited it from a friend’s mother. It has a lot of love in it :-). Over time, it developed such an interesting range of warm and metallic colors! The finished pendant has a layer of clear gilding lacquer over the silver to protect the silver leaf and arrest further oxidation.
