The pearl dangle is attached independently to the bail, and moves freely (see picture). The pillow shaped cabochon gemstones in this set have very tiny “imperfections” of the natural stone that add to their beauty and reveal the crystalline structure. I always choose the gemstones with slightly uneven structure, because I feel otherwise they may as well be glass; and the rounded, non-faceted amethysts for my jewelry, as that fits their feminine character the best. It’s one of my favorite stones, especially when paired with sterling silver.
